Before and After School FAQ Q: Do students use Kid's College outside normal school hours? A: Absolutely! Kid's College students answered over 111 million skills practice questions in 2008-09. 32% of those questions were answered outside of normal school hours!

Extra Skills Practice On Their Own Accord

Students have so much fun answering skills practice questions and playing sports video games in Kid's College, they are using the program before and after school hours on their own accord! Whether in a before or after school program or in the home, Kid's College enriches students' free time with fun and learning.

After school hours in particular are a critical time for today's youth, who can face a number of social challenges and decision-making situations between the ringing of the dismissal bell and the time their parents return home from work. 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Boys & Girls Clubs and other programs aim to provide safe and educationally enriching alternatives for youth during nonschool hours.

Kid's College adaptive curriculum implemented in these programs enables every youth to achieve academic success, so they are motivated to stay in school, stay out of danger and stay motivated for their futures. Before and after school hours are also the perfect time for youth to turn up the competition with their peers in Kid's College high score contests.
