Adaptive Technology Combined with Standards-Aligned Curriculum Delivers Effective, Targeted and Engaging Instruction

Kid’s College® is a revolutionary educational solution for K-8 students needing skills practice or remediation in Math and Reading/Language Arts. Kid’s College combines adaptive technology with standards-aligned curriculum to deliver effective, targeted and engaging instruction.

  Curriculum and Assessment

The Kid’s College curriculum contains 39,000 skills assessment items covering 3,700 skills strands, all aligned to state standards in Math and Reading/Language Arts for grades K-8.

All skills assessment items were created by Publishers Resource Group, a panel of educators with expertise in content development and state alignments, and are designed in a multiple-choice format that is consistent with what students see on state and national standardized tests.

Kid’s College curriculum is also highly customizable, as teachers can select which skills and state standards are taught to the entire class or an individual student.

Gap Assessment
Kid’s College includes automated Gap Assessments to quickly identify students’ skills gaps and help target instruction toward mastery of those skills. From within the Classroom Management System, teachers can easily set up a Gap Assessment for the entire class or individual students.
Skills Gap Identifier Report

When students participate in a Gap Assessment, Kid’s College automatically generates a Skills Gap Identifier Report for each class and student.

The Skills Gap Identifier Reports are part of a suite of Kid’s College Executive Reports that are automatically emailed to teachers weekly in order to help measure skills mastery or non-mastery and plan targeted instruction.

Teachers can also elect for parents to receive auto-emailed reports for their children.

Customized Instructional Workbooks

Gap Assessments also trigger Kid’s College to automatically generate a Customized Instructional Workbook for each student. Each workbook is based on the individual diagnosis of the Gap Assessment and contains supplemental worksheets on skills not yet mastered by the student. From within the Classroom Management System, teachers can easily download the entire workbook or chapters by skills strand, and email to parents. View a complete sample workbook.
